ChargeNode was formed in 2018 to solve the need for new innovative resource-efficient solutions for today’s challenges of widescale electrification. The company offers a smart charging system for scaled EV charging which builds upon in-house production and patent-pending charging technology. Customers are e.g. property owners, housing cooperatives, hotels, and travel destinations.

ChargeNode is the largest EV charging operator in the Nordics with over 60,000 charging points and more than 200,000 app users. As an independent CPO with a centralized system architecture and intelligent software, its charging service works seamlessly with different types of hardware and optimizes charging according to departure time and grid load.

ChargeNode’s solution contains a smart sharing technology that keeps the power requirement as well as operational cost down, thus removing any need for traditional chargers. Compared to other solutions, ChargeNode’s unique charging technology enables a more scalable and cost-effective EV charging for property owners and lowers the need for investments in the electrical grid.
